(Detroit, MI) -- Attorney General William Barr is announcing a new initiative to fight violent crime in major U.S. cities.
Speaking with reporters in Detroit, Barr said he's allocating 71-million-dollars to help fight violent crime in Detroit, Memphis, Baltimore, Kansas City, Cleveland, Milwaukee and Albuquerque.
The new initiative called "Operation Relentless Pursuit" aims to increase the number of agents, analysts and equipment in those cities.
