Breakdancing is going to become an official sport for the first time in the 2024 Olympics in Paris and the U.S.A. team is coming together.
Legendary breakdancer Richard Colon of the Bronx, who's known as Crazy Legs of the Rock Steady Crew, is hopeful the cultural integrity and history of Breakdancing is respected at the games.
The sport will be called Breaking and dancers will be scored on a 10 point system that includes footwork, freezing in poses and floor spins. The coach of the team is Antonio Castillo, who runs a league and a breakdancing school called The Lab.
