Senator Elizabeth Warren just won over the Twitterverse – and possibly nabbed some more votes for the 2020 election. The Democratic Presidential candidate completely blew off Meghan McCain’s interruptions when she appeared on “The View” yesterday.
Warren was starting to explain her plan for a wealth tax when Meghan chimed in a few times – or at least she tried to, but couldn’t get a word in as Warren ignored her and continued to explain her tax plan. After trying and failing to interject a few times, viewers couldn’t help but notice Meghan look at production for a lifeline.
The moment is a hit on Twitter, with some users saying they’ve been even more inspired to vote for Warren because of it. “I was going to vote for @ewarren anyway,” writes one user. “But her seamless, effortless ignoring of Meghan McCain has me even more committed to that vote.”
