(Westerly, RI)--The shooter in last month's deadly shooting at an apartment complex in Westerly apparently called his cable provider to shut off service two days before the incident.According to a search warrant obtained by WPRI-TV, Joseph Giachello called Cox Communications and requested the action because he didn't, quote, "have much time left and would be dead".It wasn't clear if that phone call prompted any contact between Cox and law enforcement, but a spokesperson tells the news station the company is working with police. And, Westerly Police Chief Shawn Lacey says the employee who took the call could have easily misconstrued what Giachello was saying.
