(Tiverton, RI)--A Tiverton boy who only has months left to live because of brain cancer, according to doctors, is getting to meet an NFL player.According to a story from The Newport Daily News, ten-year-old Shawny Smith's favorite player is Philadelphia Eagles star Fletcher Cox.Smith said he was born in New England, but raised with the Eagles, who beat the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl two years ago.Cox shared an Instagram post on Saturday saying the Eagles and he are planning a visit for the boy this month, and that he looks forward to meeting him and making some memories.
