(Providence, RI)--The city of Providence is unveiling its final "Great Streets" plan.The city says the plan aims to reduce household transportation costs by making it more convenient for people to use and access affordable transportation options.According to a press release, the initiative, which complements the work of a five-year capital improvement plan, will bring almost 100 percent of residents and workers within easy walking distance of an urban trail network.A map of the network and the overall Great Streets plan can be downloaded on the city of Providence website.
