(Providence, RI)--It has been quiet on the coronavirus front in Rhode Island, but this week the Rhode Island Department of Health is making its second announcement since the outbreak began.The health department's update is that it is continuing to take extensive preparedness measures, including coordinating with other state agencies, healthcare providers and other partners as efforts are ongoing at the federal level to respond to the international situation.There have been no confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus in Rhode Island, according to RIDOH.
