(Providence, RI)--Rhode Island Governor Gina Raimondo remained committed yesterday to re-opening Rhode Island on May 9th, even as neighboring Massachusetts extended its stay-at-home advisory to May 18th.Looking at the key coronavirus data: the number of people hospitalized remained unchanged yesterday.The number of new cases reported was the lowest in three weeks, but officials noted testing numbers also dropped, possibly because of bad weather.Raimondo noted an increase in crowds and traffic and said Rhode Islanders need to stick with the stay-at-home order until it expires.
