(Warwick, RI)--A landlord in Warwick was arrested Tuesday after two of his tenants said he attacked them for not paying rent.Frank Marr, whose tenants are Larry Adekeye [[ ADD-uh-kay ]] and his wife, was reportedly seen on camera in the couple's home last week destroying property and threatening to kill them.Adekeye said he wasn't able to pay rent because he hasn't received unemployment money.Marr, who is charged with disorderly conduct and simple assault, acknowledged Adekeye's unemployment situation but claimed in an interview with WLNE-TV that his tenant was bragging to other tenants about not paying rent.The state of Rhode Island suspended evictions in response to the coronavirus emergency.
