Pair Of Former State Lawmakers No Longer In Prison

(Undated)--Two former state legislators in Rhode Island have been released from prison ahead of the scheduled end of their terms in 2021.The Federal Bureau of Prisons says James Doyle, a former state senator, and Raymond Gallison, former state representative and House Finance Committee chair, have been moved to a halfway house or home confinement.Doyle was sentenced for bank fraud; Gallison was sentenced for stealing from clients.It's not clear if the coronavirus pandemic played a role in the early prison releases.
