(Undated)--Several popular shopping complexes in Rhode Island closed early yesterday in response to rumors of planned looting.In Cranston, authorities protected the Garden City and Chapel View complexes.The Warwick Mall also closed early.There were no reports of related criminal activity as of overnight Wednesday.
