(Providence, RI)--Governor Raimondo said yesterday she was concerned about another coronavirus outbreak in the state being caused by large protests.However, she said protests need to be allowed so people can participate in democracy.She said the Rhode Island Department of Health will be at upcoming protests - of the peaceful variety - to distribute masks and remind people to practice social distancing.Raimondo said she would like to attend a planned Black Lives Matter protest on Friday, but pointed out it would go against her administration's emergency rule to limit gatherings.
