(Providence, RI)--The Providence Police Department said on Sunday that twenty-three arrests have been made since an illegal fireworks task force was created last week.The task force was formed by the city police department, the Providence Fire Department and the Rhode Island State Fire Marshal's Office.Officials say there has been a huge increase in the number of complaints about the activity this year.The Providence PD says this enforcement will continue indefinitely.
