(Providence, RI) -- The City of Providence announced a nearly one-million-dollar aid program yesterday for residents facing eviction due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Mayor Jorge Elorza said the money would be available for tenants as well as landlords to make sure they can pay their bills. The city said the funding will also go to legal representation for people facing eviction proceedings.
