(Pawtucket, RI) -- The last season of the Pawtucket Pawsox is canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Minor League Baseball announced yesterday that the 2020 season will not take place, meaning the Pawsox will not be able to have a final year in Pawtucket before moving to Worcester. Team officials say they are looking into ways to give a "fitting farewell" to McCoy Stadium and the city.
