(Providence, RI)--Governor Raimondo yesterday signaled that public school students in Rhode Island would have the option of virtual learning even if schools were to fully re-open.The goal has been to return to full in-person learning on August 31st, but only if it is safe to do so.To that end, criteria for being able to re-open was laid out, including a yet-to-be-determined threshold for community coronavirus infection rates.A big change that was announced yesterday is that students will have to wear masks in class.
