(Providence, RI)--The CDC says there was "limited secondary transmission" of the novel coronavirus in child care programs in Rhode Island for their first two months of being re-opened in June and July.Researchers say the limited transmission was likely the result of state Department of Health response efforts to contain the transmission as well as adherence to health requirements from the program operators. The CDC notes the state required programs to reduce enrollment, initially to a maximum of twelve people, including staff, in stable groups in physically-separated spaces; that increased to a maximum of twenty on June 29th.
