Although many states were still too close to call into the wee hours of Wednesday, Former Vice President Joe Biden made quick work of Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. He was declared the projected winner within minutes of polls closing in those states, which routinely vote Democratic in Presidential elections, and held true to their norm.
At 11:15pm, Biden held a 49.5% to 48.79% lead in Rhode Island, while his advantage in Massachusetts was 66% to 31%.
