(Providence, RI) -- Rhode Island is getting a share in a multi-state 573-million-dollar settlement with a company for its role in helping drug companies promote opioids and profit from the opioid epidemic. The state will receive more than two-and-a-half-million-dollars as its share of the settlement with McKinsey & Company. The money will go into a fund to address opioid-related problems.
