RI Wind Gusts Up To 50 MPH

(Undated) -- Rhode Island could see wind gusts of up to 50 miles per hour today. Temperatures also plunged into the teens overnight, freezing us out, and we're waking up to bitter cold. The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory until four o'clock this afternoon. Rhode Island EMA tweeted the wind could cause downed trees and power lines. National Grid's outage map online shows several pockets where power is out, and crews have been working overnight to get customers back online.
