RI Health Director Urges Responsible Holy Holiday Celebrations

(Providence, RI) -- Last year, Rhode Islanders who celebrate Easter or Passover were being urged to avoid social gatherings, and there was no worship service attendance allowed as the pandemic was in the early stages. One year later, the situation has changed. RI Health Department Director Dr. Nicole Alexander-Scott said on Thursday that holiday-related gatherings are fine as long as you take COVID-related precautions, such as wearing masks and social distancing.
