(Newport, RI) -- Governor Dan McKee signs a climate change measure into state law. Governor McKee signed the bill yesterday during an event in Newport. The Act On Climate bill intends to help Rhode Island reach its emissions control objectives by 2050. A Rhode Island House of Representatives tweet yesterday said the new law serves to, "update Rhode Island's climate-emission reduction goals and make them enforceable."
