(South Kingstown, RI) -- The town manager of South Kingstown is planning to resign. Robert Zarnetske says the last year has been an extremely-challenging one for the community and that, quote, "my efforts to serve as a unifying force have not been as successful as I had hoped". Zarnetske pointed to the defeat of an $85 million school bond referendum in South Kingstown earlier this month and said it is emblematic of the challenges the town now faces.
