(Providence, RI) -- All of Rhode Island's beaches are open. So says the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management says even though for now only 119 of the total 153 life guard positions have been filled. All state beaches officially opened on Saturday. Those with an interest in lifeguarding can find out how to apply at RIParks.com. Due to the wet weather, beach attendance has been low for the Memorial Day weekend, but Monday's forecast calls for afternoon clearing.
