(Providence, RI) -- Rhode Islanders are being warned about a text message scam. The message claims to be the from the secretary of state's office and urges the recipient to enroll in a "COVID-19 Safe Drive to Work" program. The program doesn't exist and anyone who receives the text is advised not to reply or click on any links. They should contact the attorney general's Consumer Protection Unit.
