(Wakefield, MA) -- Some Rhode Islanders face charges after getting involved in a standoff with police on I-95 in Massachusetts. The standoff lasted several hours starting before sunrise yesterday on a portion of the interstate in Wakefield. Members of the armed militia group known as the Rise Of The Moors based in Pawtucket said they were on the way to Maine to engage in field training there. Massachusetts State Police arrested eleven people, two of whom are minors and confiscated several weapons from them. Those arrested face charges of illegal transport of firearms.
