(Providence, RI) -- A bicyclist was killed in a crash in Providence over the weekend. The collision with a car happened Friday night in the city's Silver Lake section at the intersection of Webster Avenue and Plainfield Street. The Providence Police Department says the bike rider was pronounced dead at Rhode Island Hospital Saturday. Police are investigating but they say impaired driving was not believed to be a factor.
