(Charlestown, RI) -- Swimmers were evacuated after a shark sighting in Charlestown on Saturday afternoon. The fin was spotted by a lifeguard at East Beach. But this was the latest shark scare in Rhode Island which turned out not to be a great white. The state Department of Environmental Management says this one was a thresher shark.
