(Providence, RI) -- One person is dead and several others suffered injuries after a violent weekend in Providence. A 24-year-old woman died in a drive-by shooting on Olney Street early Sunday morning. Five people were shot in a parking lot off Adelaide Avenue, also yesterday morning; those victims are expected to survive. And a man was sent to the hospital following a stabbing on Federal Hill. The victim was listed in critical hospital condition, but the injuries were reportedly non-life-threatening.
