(New Shoreham, RI) -- The New Shoreham Town Council on Block Island passed a resolution on Monday advising people to wear masks indoors in public places. The council had been considering a mask-wearing mandate, but the Island has not seen a coronavirus surge as was feared. The resolution passed last night notes BI is overwhelmed with tourists from all over the U.S. and elsewhere.
