(Providence, RI) -- The chief strategist for the Rhode Island Democratic Party is under fire for a tweet regarding South Carolina Republican Senator Lindsey Graham. He announced Monday that he'd tested positive for coronavirus. In a now deleted tweet, Kate Coyne McCoy asked if quote, "it's wrong to hope he dies from COVID." The chairperson of the state Republican Party is calling for her resignation. Coyne McCoy says she used poor judgment which she regrets.
