Cash Reward Offered For Info On Providence Drive-By Shooting

(Providence, RI) -- A $15,000 cash reward is being offered for information on the Providence drive-by shooting that killed a young master's graduate. Twenty-four-year-old Miya Brophy-Baermann of Warwick was standing with a friend in front of an apartment complex on Olney Street early Sunday morning when she was struck by gunfire that authorities think was random. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Providence Police Department. Brophy-Baermann went to the University of Rhode Island and earned her master's degree from Northeastern University this spring.
