Providence is requiring city employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19. Those that don't will have to submit to weekly testing. All workers and visitors of municipal buildings must also start wearing masks. Meanwhile in neighboring Cranston, the school committee has decided students and faculty must mask up to start the school year.
