(Cumberland, RI) -- A state investigation of the Governor's Chief Of Staff is underway. Tony Silva is being investigated over his alleged intervention to get the rights to develop a protected wetlands property. This week, Governor Dan McKee called on the Rhode Island Attorney General's office to look into the matter. On Thursday, investigators interviewed Cumberland Mayor Jeff Mutter. The Mayor claims Silva tried to get him to use his mayoral position to help advance Silva's wetlands project.
