The National Weather Service is including Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts in a Flash Flood Watch from Wednesday afternoon through Thursday afternoon. The weather service says remnants of Hurricane Ida will possibly bring heavy rain and flooding to Southern New England. Ida made landfall in Louisiana on Sunday as a Category 4 hurricane.
