(Foxborough, MA) -- The New England Patriots are releasing three-time Pro Bowl quarterback Cam Newton. He signed a one year, five-million-dollar contract with the Patriots in March after spending last season with the team as well. New England is expected to make Mac Jones their new starting quarterback. They selected him in the first round of this year's draft.
