(Chatham, MA) -- There were a half-dozen great white shark sightings reported on the Sharktivity app on Tuesday. Most of them were off Monomoy Island, but one shark was also seen near Chatham Harbor. September is still a prime month for great whites along Cape Cod. A fatal attack in Wellfleet in September 2018 was the first on a human in Massachusetts in over 80 years. There have been none since then.
