(Newport, RI) -- The former Newport home of famous couple Claus and Sunny von Bulow has sold for $30 million, according to Sotheby's Realty. Claus was convicted of attempted murder of his wife, but the conviction was overturned. Sunny died in 2008, and Claus died in 2019. The Newport Daily News reports the sale of the estate could be the highest-ever for a residential property in Rhode Island.
