(Providence, RI) -- Rhode Islanders who lose their jobs for refusing to be vaccinated against coronavirus will not be eligible for unemployment benefits. Medical or religious refusals to follow employer mandates will be carefully considered on a case-by-case basis. However, The Boston Globe reports the state Department of Labor and Training says that generally, it considers being vaccinated a reasonable requirement that workers must follow.
