A man was shot and killed in Providence on Tuesday night.
The Providence Police Department says the shooting at the Laundromax on Broad Street at around 8 p.m. was apparently a robbery gone wrong.
The suspect reportedly drew a gun on the victim, who was a man in his 30s, demanded jewelry he was wearing, and the two struggled before the gun fired.
This is homicide number 21 in the capital city this year.
