Rhode Island Gets Big Money From Trillion Dollar Infrastructure Program

Governor Dan McKee in Washington where he attended The President's Infrastructure Bill signing. The bipartisan one-point-two-trillion-dollar deal will mean over two-and-a-half-billion-dollars for Rhode Island. The money will be used for various projects including road and bridge repairs, upgrading public transit and addressing climate crisis issues. Among them;

More than 240 million dollars for bridge repair

Nearly 300 million dollars for mass transit including bus and trains.

45 million dollars for airports

In addition, there will be money for improved charging stations for electric vehicles.
