Readers Digest magazine says New England has six great Christmas towns to visit.
It says visitors to Stockbridge, Massachusetts, can step into a Norman Rockwell painting, because Main Street looks similar to his famous 1967 painting, "Stockbridge Main Street at Christmas."
The other New England Christmas towns on the list include Mystic, Connecticut; Ogunquit, Maine; Portsmouth, New Hampshire, Newport, Rhode Island and Woodstock, Vermont.
