Providence police pursued a stolen beer truck on Monday.
The beverage truck from Cranston-based distributor McLaughlin and Moran was offloading at A-to-Z Liquors on Douglas Avenue when Jeremy Fellela of Cranston allegedly got behind the wheel and took off at around 3 p.m.
The low-speed chase reportedly ended about a mile-and-a-half west with a crash into a pole at Isabella and Longwood avenues.
About the only damage reported was to a couple of lawns that were in the path of the chase.
Providence police said an unknown amount of alcohol spilled out of the truck's open loading door during the incident.
