Rhode Island reported nine new coronavirus deaths on Thursday.
The pandemic death toll in the Ocean State increased to three-thousand-224.
The number of people hospitalized with coronavirus in Rhode Island dropped yesterday to five-hundred-32.
The state saw nearly three thousand new cases of the virus.
Dr Anthony Fauci- the White House Chief Medical Advisor says that the peak of the coronavirus - in round terms is expected within the next couple of weeks.
He says that it all depends what happens in specific locations. Those areas with high vaccination rates should see a quicker run toward the peak.
