Spring Training Delayed Because Of MLB Dispute

Spring Training games for Major League Baseball are being delayed into March. The league says they won't begin until at least March 5th. This is due to the ongoing lockout involving the league and the Players Association. Fans who had tickets to the games that have now been postponed will have the chance to get a full refund.

“We regret that, without a collective bargaining agreement in place, we must postpone the start of Spring Training games until no earlier than Saturday, March 5th," The MLB statement read. "

The Red Sox and the Minnesota Twins have already cancelled a total of 14 spring training games and exhibitions with two colleges have been cancelled.

Fans who have tickets to the cancelled games will be able to get a refund.

The league also said it'll meet with the union on Monday for more talks.
