Police: Random Shot Fired At Hospital Window- No One Hurt

A gunshot was fired through a patient’s window at Rhode Island Hospital this morning right before 3AM.

The bullet, according to Providence Police went through a seventh floor window, bounced off the ceiling and fell to the floor.

There were no injuries. The patient in the room that was shot at has been moved to another room.

Police believe it was a random act. They do not believe the patient was an intended target.

There have been no arrests.
