Damaged Rail Road Bridge Has Mayor Concerned

East Providence Mayor Bob DaSilva says they will be contacting railroad officials about damage caused to the Roger Williams Avenue Railroad Bridge.

The damaged caused some of the brick work to fall. According to the Mayor's Facebook post:

"This is a low bridge with the edge of the bridge at only 11’-9” and the center at only 18’-0.

This bridge definitely needs some attention. There is evidence of missing mortar on the bricks under the bridge."

There has been no update yet on the status of the talks to fix the bridge.
