Lifespan President and CEO Doctor Timothy Babineau is stepping down.
The Board of Directors has accepted his resignation saying he has led Lifespan with integrity, vision and courage.
The announcement comes about two months after a merger between Lifespan and Care New England.
Babineau has held the position since August of 2012 and his last day will be May 31st.
A national search will be conducted for his successor.
