It's Patriots Day, and for the first time since 2019 it will include the running of the Boston Marathon.
Around 30 thousand runners are expected to participate, which is a big increase from the cap of 20 thousand during last year's marathon in October.
The field will be represented by runners from more than 120 countries, with pledges made to over 40 charities.
Some 30 million dollars will be raised for those charities with about 200 million dollars coming into the greater Boston economy.
Patriots Day is a State only holiday in Massachusetts. If you have business with local governments, libraries or schools you will have to wait a day. But there is mail.
And, if you have a tax return going to Massachusetts you do get an extra day to file the state return.
