There is a new study out that has some startling statistics when it comes to Covid19. It indicates that more than half of all Massachusetts residents have been infected by coronavirus since the beginning of the pandemic.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention data shows that nearly 60 percent of all Americans have been infected by the virus, with many of those coming since December.
Rhode Island is listed with the highest rate in New England at 53 percent, just above Massachusetts at 52 percent.
Vermont had the lowest New England number in the CDC data, with 29 percent of its residents believed to have been infected.
